Before the establishment of his consulting practice, Michael worked at CBS News and the Public Broadcast Laboratory in New York, the San Francisco Business Times, San Francisco Progress, California State University at Hayward, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, San Francisco Mime Troupe, and the Pickle Family Circus

Education and Travel – Michael attended public elementary and high schools in Brooklyn and then earned his BA in Sociology at Columbia. In San Francisco he completed an Arts Administration degree at Golden Gate University. He's fluent in Spanish and has traveled in Eastern Europe, South America, Mexico, Cuba and Puerto Rico.
